Continuing the journey, you continue deeper into the core area of the Global Geopark. The scenery on both sides of the road changes dramatically with thousands of sharp limestone formations interspersed with lush green corn fields. Mornings in Dong Van always have a unique sense of peace, the cool air, the sounds of local people talking and bargaining at the market and the first rays of sunlight through the ancient roofs. After breakfast, you start your motorbike and begin the journey to conquer the most beautiful roads in Ha Giang.
Here we are! The most anticipated moment of the journey: Conquering Ma Pi Leng, one of the “Four Great Passes” of Vietnam. The feeling of driving on a road between heaven and earth really makes the adrenaline surge with excitement.
When stopping at the scenic spot, you will be overwhelmed by the majesty of nature. For example, clouds drifting over the mountain tops, the wind blowing through the cliffs, and the river quietly flowing between the layers of overlapping mountains. This is the moment that makes people admit that Ma Pi Leng is the most beautiful road in the Ha Giang 2 days 1 night journey.
After crossing the pass, the motorbike goes downhill toward Meo Vac, a land that still retains its wild and rustic features. If you are lucky enough to go on a market day, you will be immersed in a vibrant cultural space with the brilliant colors of brocade of the H’Mong, Dao, Lo Lo people… The laughter, the sound of the flute and the bustling atmosphere of buying and selling create a picture of life in the highlands that is authentic and full of vitality.
Instead of returning to the old road, the group chooses the route through deeper and quieter valleys to Yen Minh. This route is as beautiful as a poem with undulating limestone mountains, small villages nestled at the foot of the mountains and the image of people working hard in the fields. No noise, no dust, only the steady hum of the engine and a feeling of absolute freedom in the middle of the forest.
From Yen Minh, the group follows the national highway back to Ha Giang city. The scenery gradually changes from majestic and rugged to the gentler landscapes of the lower valleys. At the end of a short but emotional 2-day-1-night trip, you will not only bring back beautiful photos but also a treasure trove of experiences about the culture, people and nature of the northernmost point of the country.

For long trips, especially in mountainous areas, it is recommended to use engines with a displacement ranging from 150cc to 500cc. This range provides enough power to climb hills and carry an additional person along with luggage while maintaining good fuel efficiency.
Engines smaller than 100cc to 125cc are only suitable for one person and may face some difficulty on steep terrain.
Typically, the recommended maintenance cycle for motorcycles is every 1,000 to 2,000 km or after each trip, depending on how the motorcycle is used and the driving conditions. If you use your motorcycle frequently or travel often on mountain roads, dirt roads, or rough terrain, more frequent maintenance is needed.

Highways are roads designated exclusively for motor vehicles, with a median strip separating lanes of traffic moving in opposite directions, and they do not intersect with other roads at the same level. Pedestrians, non-motorized vehicles, motorcycles, and tractors with a design speed of less than 70 km/h are not allowed to enter highways, except for individuals, vehicles, or equipment involved in road management and maintenance tasks.
Most motorbikes in Vietnam consume around 2 to 3 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers, depending on the engine size, bike type and terrain. Scooters and smaller bikes are more fuel-efficient, while larger manual bikes might use slightly more fuel, especially on steep or rugged terrain.

The deposit can be paid either in cash or by card, but a 3% fee will apply for card payments. We accept most major currencies in cash. However, the deposit is always refunded in cash, and we can only guarantee VND, Euro, and USD. If you start and finish at the same store, we can hold the deposit in any currency and return it in the same currency when you return the bike.
